These digitally drawn blueprints are drafts for what I expected would be quilts for the home. Not all have been completed, but some finished examples are included in this section.

Colors for these drawings are selected from default computer palettes and I view them as place holders for fabric.

When I use a 'blueprint' drawing for a finished quilt, I begin matching patterned fabric to each color on the drawing. I 'theme' the quilt. For example, some blueprints are matched to polka dot fabrics of different sizes and colors, some to childrens prints. Most patterns do not match the original palette. The finished quilts are a total surprise for me. You'll see mostly drawings but also some of the final quilts they become.
